OMG it's been so long where to begin?

So much has changed since my last post. To name the major changes I got married, bought our first house, got a job I actually like and have been with for two years, girls are growing up Alyssa isin high school and Ashley in jr high. I'm now 35 and feel old sometimes. I am going to Atlanta for the first time this week so much more I'm missing like I have another great niece named Ivy, I no longer have our cat Toni the pics on the blog made me sad just thinking about her. Well I work in the morning hope to post soon hopefully before the 4 year mark so bye for now

Just finished a new book

Well I just finished a new book called Divorce Sucks the only reason I even got this book was because I like Tori Spelling and I have read both of her books. and liked them. So this book is by Tori's husband's ex wife. the wife he left to be with Tori. And I am telling you they should change the title of the book from Divorce Sucks to this Book Sucks LOL. I do not like it I guess maybe a person that had went through Divorce would maybe like it or find it helpful. But I think it is a big blame the other person and slam tori every now and then book. But just wondering if anyone else out there has read it or has an opinion on it.

I have a brand new love and it is FB!!!!!!!!

That stands for FaceBook for anyone who does not have it OMG I have had it for a little bit but never went on then I kept getting invites and decided to go ahead and try it out, I must say I love it better then anything you can keep up with old friends and it is not as annoying as myspace. I mean dont get me wrong I still like my myspace I just do not go on it that much. But face book is way easy. I am on it several times a day and It is really nice. I have found old friends and some old family on it. Are there any others that like Facebook as much as Me out there? please let me know heck if so If I do not have you added already I will have to add ya.

I am so proud to say I am A GREAT AUNT AGAIN :) My neice Jenn just had her first little baby girl whom we believe is gonna be named Ava Brooke Adkins but not sure the name is not set in stone yet. Just thought I would share her cute little picture with you all.

So much Shock still over MJ

I am not sure how you all feel about this but gosh I am in so much shock still over Michael Jacksons Death. I mean we have lost three huge celebrities in the past week. Ed McMahon death was sad but he had a really full life. and Farrah Fawcetts death was a little less shocking cause of her battle with cancer. but Michael Jackson that was totally nuts. I was so hoping his comeback would put him back on the map. I remember listening to him back in the 80's as a kid and I loved him. He will truly be missed. And even though he had all the troubles in the late 90's and things I believe that he did not do the things he was accused of but now that is between him and god. I just am truly in shock that he is gone and I hope that his children are shielded from all the media through out this tragic time.

It must be reading mania

Well last summer I read tori spellings book sTORI telling by tori spelling cute title i thought. I really liked the book, Well I had already liked Tori from of course 90210 and her show SoNotorious and of course tori and dean inn love. But the book showed me that she has problems just like the rest of us. It took me like less then 6 hours to read cover to cover and it had some cute family pictures in it. If you like Tori spelling at all I would say check out the book it was great. But then she just released her new book so scroll down

Tori's first book.Tori's second book MOMMYWOOD is also great it took me less then 6 hours to read this one also again shows how she wants to raise her kids to have a normal life but because of who she is she can not so she has to raise them in MOMMYWOOD as she called it. Again a really good read if you like Tori. I did get her moms book Stories from Candyland from the library and I am not sure if I am bias cause I like tori and think her mom is a rich snob but I got half way through her book and quit reading it cause it was kind of hmm whats the word i guess a slow read and boring. so has anyone else read either of these books?

Oh yeah I seen on staceys blog about the book by jon and kate gosselin and I just got that from the library last night. and am on chapter 11 already and It is a great book also. I do watch their show and it kind of shows me that kate is not the few choice words I have always thought she was. LOL thanks for the tip on the book stacey so far I really like it. :)

Spring break week

Well my girls just got off of spring break our spring break was earlier then I am usually used to with michigan it would be this week the kids would be off. But during spring break we went to michigan for two days to visit my mom and sister before going to cleveland for 3 days to watch the indians opening weekend baseball games we had tickets for two of the 3 opening games so stayed in cleveland and had a great time unfortunately the indians lost the first game we attended but came back the second game and won their first game of the season it was fun being there and I have some pictures of the weekend. so please enjoy



The girls at the first hotel room we stayed at it was really nice and had a pool with a waterslide it was definetly an awesome night.Alyssa and Ashley at the first game we went to and yes at this point we are losing bad :(Alyssa and Ashley after the first game at the second hotel we stayed at it was a suite had a kitchen and everything was also really nice.





And of course we were their on easter so we had to have an easter egg hunt :) alyssa found the most eggs. ( poor ashley like me and tim was sun burned and wind burned from the first game her face is so red)Ashley showing off her eggs she again is so red from being sunburned we got sunblock the next day but alot of good it did me the day before. An April Fools Birthday :)

Well today April 1st was Tims bithday. Yes his birthday is on April Fools Day. So being the good girlfriend that I am I got him a birthday cake made of his favorite baseball team and I invited a few friends over and we had dinner and cake and ice cream. here are a few pics of tim and the cake before guests arrived. After everyone arrived I forgot about the camera cause we started talking and eating and playing cards so I did not get anymore pics sorry.

(also the party was at tims dads house so please ignore the mess in the back ground tims dad is a packrat and does not believe in throwing anything away LOL so the clothes in basket are old clean clothes that need to be tossed but his dad thinks one day he may decide to wear them again LOL)

Ashleys Birthday

Well it was not the next day took my sister a few days to get me the pics. But any ways. We went to michigan for Ashleys 9th birthday. I can not believe she is 9 years old already man does that make me feel old. Wow it has been a LONG TIME

I would say yes it has been a long time since my last blog. Well a lot of things have happened, thanksgiving and christmas and the new year all have came and gone and it is a new year woohoo. But for all things that change just as many stay the same. Not much different in my house. Get up everyday get the girls off to school. When they get home I make dinner or order out depending on the day LOL and then help with homework then they are off to bed at 9pm and I watch tv and then go to bed my self. nothing really exciting LOL but spring is here and that is when my life gets a little more lively we have tickets for opening weekend at the cleveland indians game so that should be fun. and I am thinking about a surprise trip before easter to michigan because on easter we will actually be at the game. so we will see how that works out. but hopefully it will work out. Ashleys birthday also passed but I still have no pictures from my sister but I will get them tomorrow then post again woohoo 2 posts in 2 days I may just be on a roll LOL. well bye until tomorrow

ONE YEAR LATER

Well today has been one crazy day for me. See it has been exactly One year since my daughters father passed away. And for me like all others when anyone whom you know or care out passes away you have emotions and sadness and experience grief. But it hit me today again. I really thought that I was over it. I mean Its sad I wish he had not passed but I thought Its been a year life goes on. But it hit me today and I found myself in the bathroom crying. I can not really share these feelings with anyone cause I do not even want to remind my daughter of what today is and upset her. and of course my Boyfriend would not understand why I am upset. I mean he was my Ex we had been broke up for 11 years why be sad but I am. It is funny even though he pissed me off a million times, But I miss his voice and his silly since of humor in so many ways. Is it crazy that I am sad? I am not sure. But ok I have vented enough so I guess I will close this out and get some opinions on it from you all. thanks for listening or reading this craziness.

Our last ball games of the season.

Well this past weekend was Clevelands last 3 home games of the season and we had tickets to two of the 3 games we had a great time. Cleveland ended up winning both games we went to so that is always awesome. We ended up catching two balls. One the player thru right up to us it was cool. the other was during batting practice so that was good too and we got a different player to autograph each ball so that was cool too. but my girls would say the best part was getting there picture taken with Ketchup and Mustard. Alot of you may say who in the world is Ketchup and Mustard well here you go I got the pictures for you :)

Bad Mommy Let us SKIP school

I am such a bad mom. I did not go to bed til after 5am so this morning when the alarm went off at 7am I turned it off sat up in bed and thought lets just Skip school. LOL I laid back down and back to sleep I went. My girls got up and came to me and said Mom did you know that it is past time to go to school and (just to trick them) I said what did you guys do turn off my alarm so you can Skip school. They both were like no mom I did not do it. then my youngest confesses I heard the alarm go off mom and I heard it stop and I was waiting for you to wake us up but you didnt so I waited til the bus would have left to wake you up :) I laughed and said oh so you waited so you could skip school she said yeah I wanted to stay home with you :) I thought that was so cute. I do not let them stay home often but I went out to Bingo last night yes Bingo I have not been in over 2 years. I lost of course but because of me going out they did not get a chance to do homework with me therefore I did not want to send them off to school with out homework done. and then there was all the shows that I had recorded while at bingo that when I got home I began watching them and before I knew it the time was 4:45am so off to bed my butt went but heck Im only human I was tired come 7am LOL. So oh well today is our skip day so now I am thinking about going to chuck e cheese what a cool mom lets them skip school then takes them to chuck e cheese. Is that horrible or what?

Well I was out shopping at Petsmart while Jackson was getting his bath and I came across the cutest costume for Jackson so of course I bought it, and here it is I may have to exchange for one size bigger but I had to put it on and take a picture so let me know what you all think of it :)

BACK TO SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well today was the first day of school here in ohio. When I was in school I did not go back til after labor day but not here they started today. So my girls had to get up this morning and go to school they were so excited about the first day and there was so much going on this morning I forgot to get a first day of school picture so I had to wait til they got home and get the home from school picture. They were not to thrilled about the picture once they got home but they were kind enough to pose for one picture for me so here it goes thought I would share it with you all.

Wow time does fly I can not believe that Alyssa is in 5th grade and Ashley is in 2nd time goes by so quickly.
